At Aqua Positive, we are Water Benefit Project Developers, and an advisory firm dedicated to identifying, developing, and implementing high level projects that drive Water Positive strategies. By empowering Water Benefit Providers and Organizations to enhance, restore, and regenerate water resources, we together create a science-driven positive impact that places water at the core of sustainability strategies.
Each cubic meter transformed into Volumetric Water Benefits (VWBs) is measurable, verifiable, and traceable, ensuring compliance with the principles of intentionality, additionality, and permanence. This aligns with global water governance frameworks, such as NWPI under the CEO Water Mandate, and conforms to the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) within the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
Our approach prioritizes the highest-quality water benefits, backed by over 25 years of experience in structuring and executing nature-based solutions in integrated water resource management. Each project is designed to be sustainable over time, ensuring a positive impact on water resources at a global scale.
Once structured, each project is listed on our marketplace, which integrates the Method For Implementing and Valuing Water Stewardship Activities VWBA 2.0 into its algorithm. As the world’s first platform to unify carbon and water benefits, it provides organizations with a structured and transparent mechanism to align their investments with comprehensive sustainability strategies, optimizing both water stewardship and environmental footprint reduction.
